The Hotel & Motorest V Údolí Zlatého potoka *** was opened on February 1stS 2010.
And why „Hotel V Údolí Zlatého potoka“? Blšany is situated in the hop-breeding valley. The river Blšanka, called Golden Stream for ages, flows through this place. It springs in the Doupov mountains and outfalls to river Ohře on east side from Žatec. The Golden Stream – maybe its name is originated from slits from nearby hop fields, which gives to the river its typical red-brown color. The other theory is the deficit of downfalls. In the past each river worthted the gold.
